Winnipeg’s arson strike force is investigating after a fire broke out in a Main Street building Sunday morning.
Police said officers were in the area of Bannerman Avenue and Main when they smelled smoke. A short while later a fire was discovered in a vacant building in the 1300 block of Main.
Fire crews rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze.
No one was injured, but the fire caused $45,000 damage to the building.
