Police taser 16-year-old boy after alleged property damage; boy suffers injuries

Winnipeg police tasered a 16-year-old boy Sunday morning after receiving complaints about property damage.
Officers went to the 400 block of Flora Avenue around 2:15 a.m. for reports of a young person damaging property.
Police said they found a teen who was intoxicated and uncooperative. The boy was tasered by officers. Police said the boy was injured and required medical attention as a result.
The teen was later detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
