Manitobans looking for a personal meeting with the premier were in luck Saturday – Greg Selinger opened the doors of the Legislative Building Saturday to speak with the public.

The annual open house was scheduled for 1 p.m., and invited all Manitobans to meet with Selinger, cabinet ministers and MLAs.

The public was able to tour the Manitoba Legislative Building including The Blue Room, party caucus rooms and the legislative reading room.

Children’s activities were also offered during the open house, including craft stations, colouring activities from Art City and face painting. Clowns Loonette and Molly were also in attendance. In addition, free holiday photos were offered to families.

A number of Manitoba high school students will carol at the event at 3 p.m.

The legilsative building will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or an unwrapped toy for the Christmas Cheer Board.
