A proposed dermatology clinic is getting under people’s skin, again.

A city committee will hear a plan Tuesday evening to set up a 3,300 square foot clinic at 500 Academy Road.

This is the second pitch for the business owner, who was turned down by city council last year.

Area businesses and residents said the building is too big and does not fit the character of the neighbourhood. They say the clinic will bring in too many vehicles causing parking and traffic issues.

But the proposal has been revised from a two-storey structure to one and the plan calls for five parking stalls on site.
