RCMP have charged a 19-year-old Shamattawa man with manslaughter in connection with the death of his common-law wife.
Officers said 19-year-old Tatum Lee Miles died at a Shamattawa nursing station after she was brought in suffering from medical distress on Sept. 2.
A completed autopsy attributes her death to multiple trauma, said police.
Robert Riley Napoakesik, 19, of Shamattawa was arrested and charged in connection with the incident, said RCMP.
