RCMP are investigating after a major fire claimed a life and destroyed a home in Springfield Saturday morning.
Fire crews rushed to on Edgewood Road in the RM of Springfield around 1:30 a.m. to find a trailer fully engulfed in flames.
Oakbank RCMP later found a person dead inside the structure. The identity of the person has not yet been confirmed, and RCMP said an autopsy is planned.
The trailer was completely destroyed in the fire, and an investigation is now underway.
