A 47-year-old driver died after his pickup truck hit the east shoulder of Highway 6 and rolled, landing on its roof in the Setting Lake area on Aug. 26.

RCMP responded to the rollover shortly before midnight, about 20 kilometres north of Wabowden.

Wabowden is about 110 km southwest of Thompson.

A 47-year-old man was the lone person in the vehicle. He was sent to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

RCMP said alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash. The driver had also been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the rollover.

His name has not been released by police.

RCMP, including a forensic collision reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
