The Winnipeg Police Board has a new chair.
Rookie Councillor Scott Gillingham has been named by Mayor Brian Bowman to head the board. He replaces former St. James Councillor Scott Fielding.
Coun. Ross Eadie replaces Thomas Steen on the board. Steen lost his seat in the election to Jason Schreyer.
The next police board hearing is set for Friday.
