The Winnipeg Police Service has made a second arrest in connection with a late August patio stabbing.

A 19-year-old man was standing on a patio on Aug. 21, 2014, in the area of Carlton Street and Graham Avenue when he was approached by a group of people, said police.

The 19-year-old was punched by one suspect and stabbed in the lower body by another, said police.

The suspects fled and police were called.

The Division 11 crime unit identified two suspects and one was arrested Sept. 2 in the 100 block of Main Street.

Henry Le, 24, of Winnipeg, is facing a charge of aggravated assault.

On Sept. 5, police announced Eldrine Lising Monton, 28, of Winnipeg faces charges for assault and failing to comply with a probation order.
