A 19-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle collided with an SUV Tuesday night.
The crash happened at just after 10 p.m., May 26 at the corner of Waverley Street and Lee Boulevard.
The teen was found suffering from serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died.
The initial investigation has found the motorcycle was traveling at high speeds northbound on Waverley Street with it struck a southbound vehicle turning east onto Lee Boulevard.
Northbound Waverley Street was closed all Tuesday night but has since re-opened.
There were no other injuries reported in the crash.
Members of the Central Traffic Unit are still investigating.
The victim's name will not be released.
