A West End pool will be closed longer than expected.
The city temporarily closed the Sherbrook Pool at 381 Sherbrook St. last week, after an inspection. Now they are saying the pool will be closed for an extended amount of time, as engineers assess the building.
The city has cancelled winter swimming programs. They say they will add extra classes at Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex and Eldon Ross Pool to make up for it.
