Your Skywatch Weather Forecast
Get ready for the next round of snow and other related conditions on Thursday night across southern Manitoba. Snow will be heavy at times this evening before this system clears out by Friday morning. We should see around 5 cm tonight in Winnipeg and in the southeast. Winds will be out of the north at 30 km/h, so there could be some blowing snow, too. In the Steinbach area, there’s also the risk of freezing rain. In the southwest, forecast amounts vary. It looks like the Neepawa region could get the most, with 10-15 cm forecast. Amounts also vary in northwestern Ontario. Fort Frances may also see ice pellets. Sunshine returns Friday morning.
