Your Skywatch Weather Forecast
This weekend will not go down as a great one to start off the summer of 2016. An approaching low pressure system from the west will spread showers or thunderstorms across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. There is a risk of thunderstorms across the south Friday evening before showers start late tonight. Even heavier rain and thunderstorms are expected tonight and Saturday across northwestern Ontario. Showers or thunderstorm will end mid-morning on Saturday in Winnipeg leaving behind mainly cloudy skies the rest of the day. There’s a chance of showers, maybe a thunderstorm overnight Saturday into Sunday. Then rain and winds will pick up on Sunday to cap off a soggy weekend. Sunshine inconveniently returns on Monday.
