Saturday looks wet and grey across most of Manitoba on Saturday. Environment Canada issued rainfall warnings for a large swath of central Manitoba.
Places like Flin Flon, The Pas, Norway House, Cross Lake, Thompson, Nelson House and Split Lake could all get between 50 and 70 millimetres of rain between Saturday evening and Sunday around noon.
A low pressure system moving in from the northern United States will enter Manitoba this afternoon, causing heavy rain and a few thunderstorms, Environment Canada said.
In Winnipeg, the rain will end in the morning, but it could return again Saturday evening with a risk of a thunderstorm overnight. Expect around five to 10 mm of rain here in the city, and then fog patches.
