Smith Street closed for crane work, motorists asked to use alternate route

Motorists looking to travel down Smith St.,are asked to use an alternate route on Saturday and Sunday.

The city said Smith St., between Portage Ave., and Graham Ave., will be blocked off for crane workfrom 6 a.m. Saturday until 6 p.m. Sunday.

Pedestrians will still have access to the street but motorists are asked to give themselves extra travel time for detours, the city said.
