Winnipeg mayoral candidate Gord Steeves wants to sell more city property to fix crumbling roads.

If elected, Steeves said he would sell the Millennium Library Parkade, the new downtown police headquarters and its attached office tower.

Under his plan, Steeves said the police building would be operated under a private-public partnership agreement.

Steeves estimates the revenue from the transactions at $50-$75 million - money that would pay for road repairs.

This on top of a promise he made last week to sell four city-owned golf courses for $100 million to fix infrastructure.
