RCMP said a business in Riverton faces charges for multiple offences under the Liquor Control Act.

Police said the business is a general store that houses a Manitoba Liquor Control Commission licensed outlet.

RCMP said they’ve charged Bilinski Enterprises Ltd., operators of The Other Place store, with sale of alcohol for resale, sale out of hours and three counts of unlawful sale of alcohol.

On Feb. 12, the store was shut down.

"I can tell you that significant quantities of alcohol were going through the premises and that is part of what I could say led to the investigation,” said Cpl. Miles Hiebert from RCMP.
