Winnipeg police said a suspect is facing charges for sexually assaulting two women who were targeted at a support group.
Officers said the accused met a 24-year-old woman at a support group meeting, invited her to a home and supplied her with alcohol and drugs on Sept. 2, 2012.
When she began losing consciousness, the victim was sexually assaulted, said police.
Police believe a similar attack happened on Oct. 22 involving an 18-year-old victim.
Dwain Nicky Waly, 60, of Winnipeg was arrested on Nov. 5 and charged with two counts of sexual assault, said police.
