Winnipeg police announced an arrest has been made for the killing of Michael James Flett, 30.
Flett was found suffering from stab wounds shortly after 4:30 a.m. on June 29 in the 400 block of Manitoba Avenue.
He was rushed to hospital, but died from injuries.
Officers arrested a suspect on July 4.
Michael Aaron Roulette, 18, of Winnipeg faces charges for second-degree murder and two counts of assault with a weapon, said police.
The homicide unit continues to investigate the case.
