Winnipeg police released a description of a suspicious person who approached an 18-year-old woman in Charleswood.

The woman was walking home in the area of Cathcart Street around 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 20 when a man approached in a vehicle.

When it stopped in front of the woman, the passenger got out and asked to walk her home. The woman kept walking and the male suspect eventually got back in the vehicle, which drove away.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 25-30 years old, six feet (183 centimetres) tall, with an average build, wearing sunglasses and dark clothing.

The vehicle is described as a four-door grey Ford Focus.
