A stabbing with sword has led to assault charges against an 18-year-old man.
Police were called to the 100 block of Henry Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Two men who knew each other got into an argument, which led to a 42-year-old man being stabbed multiple times with a sword.
The suspect fled and emergency services were called. Paramedics took the man to hospital in critical condition, and he was later upgraded to stable.
Joshua Kennedy faces charges of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.
