Syrian refugees coming to Manitoba will initially be housed in Winnipeg.
The province says the Task Force will help identify permanent housing in Winnipeg and beyond after that.
The Red Cross will work the province in setting up a help line for people who want to assist.
Up to 2,000 refugees are expected in the coming months. It will be a mixture of private and government sponsored refugees.
