An ATV driver is in hospital after crashing and being struck by a car Thursday evening.
Dauphin RCMP said it happened around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 20, approximately 3km east of Dauphin, August 21, 2014.
According to RCMP, the 15-year-old driver from the Dauphin area had lost control of the all-terrain vehicle and was lying on the roadway.
A 45-year-old Dauphin woman driving eastbound struck the teen, who was taken to hospital for treatment.
Neither the driver nor the passenger in the vehicle was injured.
RCMP said the investigation continues and believe alcohol to be a contributing factor in the crash of the ATV.
