A third patient in Manitoba is set to plead their case for a doctor-assisted death.

The patient’s name won’t be revealed due to privacy reasons.

The case will be heard in court on Monday, May 30.

In March, a Manitoba man was the first in the province to be granted a physician-assisted death.

The Trudeau government has until June 6 to draft right-to-die legislation.

Patients can apply for an exemption until the legislation is passed.
