An update in the car theft case where a selfie of the suspects ended up publicly posted to the victim's Facebook page.
Winnipeg police confirmed three people were arrested Friday morning in connection to the case.
Lucille Lavoie reported her car stolen to Winnipeg police on Tuesday.
Lavoie, who left her keys in the car along with her purse and cell phone, said the photo showed up on her Facebook account because her phone is synced with the account.
She sent the photo of three people driving what appears to be her car to police.
Lavoie's vehicle has not been recovered.
