Two people face charges in connection with a fatal pedestrian collision in Thompson last September.

A 59-year-old woman died after a vehicle hit her as she was crossing the street in front of R.D. Parker Collegiate on Sept. 19, 2013.

Stephen Shaw of Thompson and Chantel Kryminski of Winnipeg both face charges of failing to remain at the scene of an accident resulting death, failing to remain at the scene of an accident resulting bodily harm, obstructing justice and public mischief, said RCMP. Kryminski faces an additional charge of unlawfully causing bodily harm.

Police released both of them on a recognizance. They will appear in Thompson Provincial Court on May 23.
