A 26-year-old man succumbed to his injuries a day after being found unconscious by RCMP.
Island Lake RCMP were dispatched to St. Theresa Point for the report of an unconscious man.
Officers said the investigation showed the man was involved in an altercation at a party with two other men in the early hours of April 21.
Police have charged Morgan Wood, 27, and John Jacob Harper, 28, with manslaughter in connection with the man’s death.
RCMP said the three men were from the community and were known to each other.
The two men are set to appear in Winnipeg Provincial Court on April 26.
