Anton and Emile are the new members of the harbour seals family at the zoo.
The two 10-month-old seals have come to Winnipeg all the way from Germany. Visitors can see them in the underwater tunnels at the Journey to Churchill’s Gateway to the Arctic building.
“All of us at the Assiniboine Park Zoo are thrilled to welcome Anton and Emile and we can’t wait to have the community come and visit them,” said Dr. Brian Joseph in a press release, the director of zoological operations at the zoo.
“Swimming with the Seals” started on Friday where a diver and a zookeeper give the visitors a unique underwater perspective.
