Two pedestrians struck, one dead after collision: police

Winnipeg police said a woman is dead and two others injured after a vehicle-pedestrian collision Monday afternoon downtown.
Police said it happened at around 4:10 p.m. at the intersection of St. Mary Avenue and Carlton Street, when a man and a woman were both hit by a vehicle.
Both pedestrians and the driver were taken to hospital. The driver and male pedestrian were treated and released, while the female pedestrian died.
