The holiday season has officially begun and local veterinarians want to show the season is "fur" everyone.
The Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association is organizing a food drive for pets in need.
People are asked to drop off unopened tins or bags of cat and dog food at participating vet clinics.
There are 21 locations taking part across the province.
Clinics choose who they want to support and donate collected items to families, food banks, or animal shelters.
