The Winnipeg police have located and arrested a 38-year-old man in connection to numerous break-ins, theft and fraud related incidents.

Michael Roy Chief has been charged with over 100 offences in relation to the incidents.

He was arrested on Oct. 11 in the area of the 700 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

Police previously put out a warrant of arrest for Chief and would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating the man.

Police confirmed that Chief was also arrested in May 2011 for a string of thefts from mailboxes. He was charged with 39 counts of theft from mail and break and enter.
