Wanted man sought in connection with assault case

Officers renewed a call for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault case from October 2013.

Winnipeg police said Dwight John Stevenson, 23, is wanted on outstanding warrants, including failing to attend court and failing to comply with conditions of a recognizance.

The suspect was previously charged in connection with an assault case involving an attack against a transit driver in September 2013 that was caught on video.
