Victoria Day got off to a wet across Manitoba with some light morning showers.

In Southern Manitoba, the rain should end in the morning, but parts of central and northern Manitoba could get showers throughout the day and into the evening.

In Winnipeg, The clouds will start to move off by noon and then the sun should shine bright for most of the day.

The high is expected to reach up to 26 Celsius in Winnipeg, and most communities in southern Manitoba will see similar highs in the mid-20s .

The UV index will be 7, or high.

Parts of central Manitoba woke up to fog patches on Monday. The risk of showers and possible thunderstorms will linger into the evening. The Pas could get as much as 15 mm of rain on Monday.

The next few days look like they could be similarly wet and cloudy in Southern Manitoba, and they’ll also be slightly colder with highs in the low-20s.

The forecast looks warmer and brighter for everyone heading towards the weekend, with a return of highs in the mid-20s and mostly sunny skies.
