The artists teamed up for a large work of art depicting four-year-old Ercilla from Mozambique, who is the face of the World Vision campaign.

Seven local artists joined together to work on World Vision’s Just One Child campaign.

The artists teamed up for a large work of art depicting four-year-old Ercilla from Mozambique, who is the face of the World Vision campaign, whose goal is to get Winnipeggers to sponsor 1,000 children.

Coun. Brian Mayes (St. Vital) also joined in the artistic efforts.

In addition to Monday’s Paint One Child for 1000 Children event, CTV has teamed up with World Vision and will be airing four special stories throughout the month of October. CTV’s weather specialist, Colleen Bready, traveled to Mozambique to uncover the difference families in Winnipeg are making by sponsoring children.
