Winnipeg's arts and creative community is getting ready to grill the mayoral candidates as Culture Days kicks off.
Manitobans for the Arts has developed what they call Vision 2030. It’s a four-part strategy for boosting arts and culture in Winnipeg.
Friday they will hold a forum for mayoral candidates to discuss how they plan to make art a mainstay in Winnipeg.
The forum will take place at noon in the Muriel Richardson Auditorium at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
Six of the seven candidates are expected to attend: Brian Bowman, Paula Havixbeck, Robert-Falcon Ouellette, David Sanders, Gord Steeves, and Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
Michel Fillion will sit this one out.
The public is also invited.
