Winnipeggers will get their first look at the new mayor’s first budget next week.
City hall has announced the annual budget will be tabled on Tuesday, March 3.
Brian Bowman and others on his executive policy team have said this is a very difficult budget.
Bowman has commented that some of the decisions coming won’t be popular with everyone.
On property taxes, the mayor campaigned to keep any hikes at or below the rate of inflation.
The budget will be voted on at a special meeting of city council on March 23.
