A Winnipeg couple is celebrating a milestone after being married for 75 years.
Bill and Ruth Shell reminisced Tuesday about their big day back in 1940. They had a small wedding with family, followed by a honeymoon in Clear Lake.
They have three children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
They credit not holding a grudge and being nice to each other as keys to a happy marriage.
Bill turns 100 in September and Ruth turns 97 that month.
