A 38-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged with multiple property-related crimes following a string of break and enters.

It came to a head Friday, when police received reports of three commercial break and enters in the 300 and 100 blocks of St. Anne’s Road, as well as the 500 block of St. Mary’s Road.

Police said a witness to the St. Anne’s incident called in a report and gave a vehicle description.

Later that day, officers took the suspect into custody after stopping the vehicle in the area of Marion Street and Lagimodiere Boulevard.

Winnipeg police charged Zachariah Brad Mastervick for his alleged involvement in the three incidents.

Police said further investigation learned Mastervick may be responsible for ten other commercial break and enters in the past two weeks.

Those incidents include:

April 8 – 1600 block of St Mary’s Road
April 15 – 800 block of Dakota Street
April 16 – 1700 block of Plessis Road
April 23 – 1600 block of Day Street
April 24 – 100 block of Archibald Street
April 25 – 600 block of St Anne’s Road
April 28 – 800 block of Dakota Street
April 29 – 1st 100 block of Island Shore Boulevard
April 30 – 1st 100 block of Island Shore Boulevard
April 30 – 200 block of Meadowood Drive

Police said that in total, Mastervick is allegedly responsible for more than $14,000 in damages and more than $37,000 in stolen cash and merchandise.
