The Winnipeg police arson unit is investigating three overnight fires.

Damage is estimated at $100,000 following a fire in a vacant home in the city's North End.

The blaze broke out on the main floor of a house in the 600 block of Burrows Avenue around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

It spread to both floors. Police said the home was vacant.

A St.Vital community club is cleaning up after a players’ bench was set ablaze at the Greendell Park Community Centre on Woodlawn Avenue, causing about $2,000 in damage.

And police said crews were called to Acheson Drive for a fence on fire just after midnight. Damages were negligible.

The arson unit is investigating all three fires.
