Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted for assault and breaking into a home.
Officers are looking for 29-year-old Eric Chartrand. Chartrand has a warrant out for his arrest for assault causing bodily harm, break and enter and overcoming resistance to commit an indictable offence.
Chartrand is described as aboriginal in appearance with a medium build, about five-foot-eleven, 216 lbs and has hazel eyes as well as long brown straight hair.
Police said anyone who sees Chartrand should not approach him. Instead they’re asking anyone with information to contact police at 986-6222 or Crime Stoppers at 786-8477.
