Winnipeggers on both sides of the Israel-Gaza conflict are trying to bring attention to the turmoil.

A rally in support of Israel was held Monday afternoon in front of Union Station on Main Street. The demonstrators then walked to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights at The Forks.

Outside the museum, police kept pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protestors separated.

The rally in support of Israel was scheduled to be followed by an event at the Asper Jewish Community Campus in the evening.

A protest in support of Palestine was held Friday night in front of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

International diplomats are trying to bring an end to the violence where more than 500 Palestinians and 20 Israelis have been killed.
