Winnipeg ranks fourth among Canadian cities in fastest-growing economy study

Toronto still has the fastest growing economy among Canadian cities, but cities on the Prairies are starting to catch up.

According to a new study from CIBC, Calgary is in second place, boosted by a growing population and a healthy job market.

Regina is in third, driven by very strong population growth and one of the country's lowest unemployment rates.

Winnipeg is fourth, Saskatoon is fifth and Edmonton is sixth.
