A severe thunder and lightning storm made its way through Winnipeg Wednesday evening.
High winds ripped the roof off a residential high rise on Sinclar Street.
Emergency crews received the report shortly after 8:30 p.m., as debris was scattered across the street and onto neighbouring lawns.
Residents were evacuated from the building.
