RCMP announced a 17-year-old suspect is facing charges for the death of another teenager in June.
Around 5:30 a.m. on June 30. Ste Rose du Lac RCMP and emergency services were dispatched following a report of an unresponsive person outside a residence on the Crane River First Nation.
A 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple police units investigated the death.
An autopsy attributed death to trauma from an assault.
Police said a 17-year-old male suspect from Winnipeg was arrested on Nov. 7 and has been charged with manslaughter.
