The Philadelphia Flyers have signed their top draft choice – Winnipegger Nolan Patrick.
The former Brandon Wheat King and the Flyers agreed on an entry-level contract for the second overall pick in the 2017 NHL entry draft.
The 18-year-old is recovering from off-season abdominal surgery and is expected to be ready to play by the beginning of the season.
