The Winnipeg School Division is holding its final public meetings ahead of setting the new budget.

The WSD School Board is holding four public consultations before the final meetings to set the 2015-16 mill rate. Two meetings have already been held.

The Board says it is getting a one per cent funding increase from senior levels of government and wants help “finding the balance between delivering quality education with the growing tax burden on residential home owners.”

A meeting is being held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Queenston School. The final meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at R.B. Russell Vocational School.
