A former employee of a Winnipeg youth organization faces child pornography charges after inadvertently texting a co-worker an picture of a nude girl believed to be seven and eight years of age.
According to police, the colleague who received the image immediately notified a supervisor and the man who sent the photo was terminated and police were notified.
The text was allegedly sent in February.
Police did not name the organization or the individual arrested.
A 37-year-old man is charged with possession of child pornography, access child pornography, and distributing child pornography.
