A barn was completely destroyed near Île-des-Chênes early Tuesday morning.
Fire crews rushed to Leclaire Road near Bernat Road about three kilometres from the community around 4 a.m.
Crews from a number of jurisdictions were on scene to make sure it didn't spread to nearby homes or beyond.
A fire official said the barn was filled with hay.
Officials are pegging damages at $145,000. They said there were no injuries, and that the fire is not considered suspicious, though a cause is not yet known.
