Dan began his career as a student in the Creative Communications program at RRC Polytech. While in his first year, he began working as a part-time board operator at 680 CJOB, and quickly moved into the newsroom, reading the weekend news and sports on the air. Less than two years after graduation, Dan returned to RRC Polytech as a CreComm instructor, teaching radio classes to journalism and public relations students.

Since then, Dan has worked as a news reader at CBC Manitoba, and again at 680 CJOB. He has taught podcast workshops and produces several local podcasts. When he’s not working, Dan loves Star Wars, being a father to his three kids, and writing about himself in the third person.
