Fatal fire in Dalrymple

A structure fire in the Dalrymple area took a person’s life.

Emergency crews responded to the call of a camping trailer on fire near Folsom Crescent Wednesday.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, however, Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed one person had perished in the fire.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area while they continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
