The body of a man was discovered in the bush behind a home south of Birds Hill Park Tuesday afternoon.
RCMP recovered the body in a wooded area near Lorne Hill Road and Hazelridge Road.
Officers were canvassing people in the area asking them if they had seen anything suspicious in the area.
When CTV News cameras arrived, a canine unit was at work in the bush, and a section of a wooded area was cordoned off with yellow police tape.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Serious Crimes Unit are investigating.
However, police aren't saying much more about the investigation at this point.
