Officers in Brandon released more details Friday in a homicide investigation.
Police previously said a suspect had been arrested after a 63-year-old man was found dead on April 10 inside a motel on Middleton Avenue along the Trans-Canada Highway in Brandon.
On April 12, police said 26-year-old Dana Allison Craig of Sussex Corner, N.B. is facing a second-degree murder charge for the death of his father Terrance Craig.
Officers said the pair had been travelling at the time of the incident.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
